I am greatly looking forward to serving as a Community Representative on the Local School Council for the Walt Disney Magnet Elementary School located in Buena Park, Uptown.

The area that outlines the district of the Disney Community establishes Foster as the northern border, Diversey to the South, and from the Lake on the East to Damen on the West.  These neighborhoods are Lakeview and Lakeview East, parts of Roscoe Village, North Center, Ravenswood, and all of Sheridan Park, Buena Park, Margate Park, and central Uptown, too.

Disney is an incredible elementary school and there is incredible potential of what can be accomplished by forming mutually beneficial neighborhood partnerships.

I insist of myself to be a collaborative voice and an understanding listener. I am eager to sit with my soon to be colleagues on the council.  I am confident that we will be able to accomplish a lot of great initiatives that will enhance the Disney experience for its students and stakeholders.
