Called it. Didn’t we all.

Amazing work by CPS Dad Jakob Ondrey and deep respect to him for his pursuit of transparency.

His research exposes the dubious nature that CPS approaches our own schools. Their numbers were wrong (Read here in the CST). And he had to catch it. They would not have ever said a thing.

For some reason, perhaps misled, perhaps nefarious, or perhaps just not with any malice but just plain ignorance of a new standard of a new generation further and further from their own, CPS has a sustained habit of misleading the Chicago public for motivations that bear striking resemblance to those other than pursuit of a more perfect Childrens’ education.

A simple observation:

Time and time again the public has called for transparency.

Time and time again, Local School Council Representatives have called for accountability.

CPS is only doing its credibility more and more harm by continually demurring its own mistakes.

Even if we believe you that all of your efforts to down play the realities of Omicron in our schools were done out of good intention, the question remains,

Dear CPS, In CPS conflict resolution, we teach our students to take accountability for their mistakes:

Why won’t you?
