Not that I know much, but I find that it makes sense that when the view becomes too much of one thing, you are likely going in the wrong direction. Too much ground or too much sky– it helped to keep a balanced type of view.
Looking ahead, you should see what is nothing like above or below.
Incidently, I don’t think they build the F-22’s anymore. I believe the image is rendered over the mountains of Innsbruck, Austria.
