Legal Researcher, Grant, Technical Writer: October 2018 – September 2021

  • Deliver grant writing, technical writing, and strategic documentation services, to secure funding and logistics, prepare government filings for use of entities, their attorneys and accountants; provided research and writing and general paralegal support.

Immigration Project Paralegal: April 2018 – September 2018

  • Fulfill the immediate need for support of immigration legal matters as the firm’s clients, native speaking Bosnian and Kosovan refuggees, faced expiring TPS visas; Successful adjudication included RFEs.

Immigration Project Paralegal: January 2018 – April 2018

  • Draft cover letters, compiling I-129 packets utilizing LawLogix for H-1B Cap and Master Cap,
  • Curate up to date research, such as Premium Processing filing protocols.

Immigration Project Paralegal: February 2017 – January 2018

  • Write, compile, complete and submit the H-1B, H-1B Masters, H-4, and related I-129 visas for each specialty worker consultant of the firm.

Immigration Project Legal Assistant: January 2016 – April 2016

  • Compile hundreds of Form I-129 for large docket of H-1B petitions.

Policy Director and Nonprofit Consultant: April 2008 – April 2015

  • Write municipal and federal legal grants for foreclosure mitigation programs
  • Administer programs aimed to aid at-risk and vulnerable homeowners and renters impacted in Chicago’s Far South Side, West Side, and in the southern municipalities of Cook County.

  • Operate cross-government grants, $250K; the City of Chicago and the Obama-era PTFA.
