CPS. Caring 70%.

There is not a cost problem at CPS. But I agree that CPS does not currently afford the costs of fully funded classrooms. That is the critics lie.

The tool of a critic is cynicism. Critics offer review without any intention of contributing. They use their cynicism to undercut potential in order to justify their lack of hope.

Critics of the employees of CPS as fault are displaying complete Cynicism to potential of CPS students.

But what benefits arise from critics applying their cynicism to our students learning?

Proaction and healing is inherently an investment. And it inherently results in progress.

So. When I read:

CPS has 70% of its funding ability to properly teach its student population.

I read it as not an acceptable fact that we resign to do nothing about, I trust that we wall want all our schools to do great. A better district is better for all students.

And they are served by already stripped down budgets. Seriously: Teachers buying their own supplies. What citywide entity office would require its employees to bring their own office supplies?

The problem is not costs. You clearly, clearly can’t cut your way out of a 30% deficit.

Cut all you want— by the time you cut the needed amounts to regain that last 30% then there will be no viable Public Schools system left in the city.

Dear CPS leadership: Figure it out.
