Typewriter Thought Nine Ten Eighteen

A question not answered is still better than a question not asked. This is one of those sentences which may hold validity through what I believe is called a litotes-- claiming a positive by emphasizing a negative. In other words, yes, grammar and syntax don't make sense even to those who study it. But that is not incorrect, and I don't disagree.
