I had a great time running into a few familiar faces this morning as I walked around a portion of my block club hoping to engage with neighbors to gather their community feedback for our survey.

I was touched to be so warmly received as I approached complete strangers on the street, notepad in hand.

I was even more encouraged to listen as some neighbors were willing to share their thoughts and leave a comment on our survey.

Building block club engagement and membership is not easy, but living in Uptown certainly makes it easier.
