It is time! We have stood together on education efforts for ages. I’m still in it if you are!

We got this.

We have a bill. It is simple, but powerful. Let’s guarantee that the all volunteer board is sufficiently staffed.

It is now time. We have to move. The Elected School Board is a tremendous victory, and we need to protect that victory from future city council interference!

Without such protections, the school board risks being cut short by city council decree.

We need this to ensure the elected school board can function the way we need it.

This is just the start.

As requested by many Representatives, I reached out several times to CPS — but never received a response.

We all recognize this is much more complex than appears. 

But we all agree we need to start and we can start with a policy we all already agree upon:

Let’s give each volunteer board member a staffer.

You can see the legislative road to victory is as narrow as I can see it, too. 

We need to move fast. 

If I can bring enough votes—- if I can work with you and your colleagues, on both sides, to bring it out of committee and to the floor— If I can do this for Veto— would you support it?

We can take it from there.
